- Ruth- we'll wait a bit before switching to 4 days. J and S think consecutive days will be better for mom. Is thinks MWF will be more convenient for the family. We'll try TWT for while longer then reconsider adding Fri.
- UTI- we were all annoyed at Pouzar's office for their delay. We'll continue to try to find gerontologist for the next time. S pointed out that UTI can create temporary aggravation in dementia. Mom is on Sulfameth and is taking Cystex.
- Bathing- still a huge struggle. We'll try for Tue and Thurs by Ruth.
- Telling Relatives et al.- Is will coordinate TC folks via Juan, and take the lead with other relatives. J encourages us to be very accurate about the absence of a definitive diagnosis, noting that the most accurate reflection of the doc's statements are that Mom has mixed dementia.
- Housing - new facility in Clear Lake, Autumn Leaves, visited by Steve. Will cost about about $5k per month and is scheduled to open in about February. Steve prefers to keep Mom at home with increased supervision for as long as possible. Mom's happy there. Sibs agree, I think.
- Nutrition and weight- even though we're monitoring caloric intake, Mom's still gaining weight. We'll continue to monitor.
- We revisited and confirmed that telling mom about her condition would serve no purpose.
- Steve to follow upon abdominal MRI. Dr. Ewert indicated that Mom has had blood in her urine since at least as far back as mid-2010, and that an abdominal MRI was ordered ro try and locate the cause.
