Mom's appointment was Thursday. I called the doc's office Monday looking for test results. They called back yesterday and had none. They called back this morning and had blood work. Nothing there that needed urgent action, just the regular monitoring. The urinalysis isn't back yet. However, Mom clearly has a UTI. I started her on AZO on Saturday and on Cystex yesterday (2 pills 3 times a day). Hopefully the results will be back soon and they can start her on antibiotics.
When I went back to her house last night to give her the second dose of Cystex, she was complaining much less (comparatively) about her abdominal pain. I believe that confirmed the existence of the UTI. But we'll see.
