Last night (Thurs 10Feb) I told David, Suzanne, and Stephanie that the results of mom's pet scan indicated dementia with a high likelihood that she has AD. They were very sad and Stephanie cried.
I asked them to make an effort to periodically call or stop by their abuela's house because it makes her happy and also to share her memories. I said that sometimes she seems fine but at other times she has difficulty rememebering the right words to communicate, so to be patient.
I told them that the three of us would be meeting to discuss and agree on the next steps for helping abuela.
